Medical Biller

-Handle daily billing file and submit insurance claims to third party payers (30+ per day)
-Review errors from electronic payers
-Review and edit hospital billing system and make changes as needed
-Review Payer status reports and ensure all claims have accepted at the payer site
-Prepare and submit manual insurance claims who do not accept electronic claims
-Process re-bills as requested by collectors
-Work in EPIC system daily
-Balance daily downloads from system and enter into billing system
-Complete spreadsheets for claims
-Separate and distribute reports to staff regarding billing info
-Distribute paper claims that need to be billed daily
-Send all billing information needed to medical billers via email or electronic system
-Answer 50-80 phone calls per day
