Aerotek is working with a family owned company in Pensacola, FL who is looking for a dynamic, Marketing and Sales leader to help grow their locamotive equipment division. Qualified candidates will demonstrate the ability to plan and implement sales, marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following duties personally or through future subordinates.

The primary role for this sales and marketing position for 2015 will be outside sales and developing Class I Railroads, Locomotive Rebuilders, and Short Line Railroad accounts in the US and Canada. The company is looking for someone who has a strong desire to move into a leadership role and develop a team of sales professionals over the next 2-4 years.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Develops and implements strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services along with other company leadership.
* Identify, develop and lead team to effectively meet strategic plans.
* Engage in trade activities to promote brand awareness and market penetration.
* Ensure brand messaging is consistent with all sales outlets
* Develops and manages sales territory and outlets including international importers, distributors and dealers
* Ability to develop and manage sales/marketing operating budgets.
* Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail as needed to effectively market territory.
* Develops and recommends market demographics, product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
* Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
* Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
* Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
* Oversee creation and delivery of press releases, advertisements and other marketing materials.
* Prepares marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
* Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
* Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
* Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs when needed.
* Directs market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
* Identify, participate and represent company at trade association meetings to promote product and brand.
* Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
* Prepares monthly sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
* Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
* Identifies other key markets, both domestic and international and creates short and long term goals for market penetration.
* Provides key input for product research and development.

Expirience

3-5 years related proven sales and marketing expirience iwth progressice managerial responsibilities preferred. Depth in sales, marketing techniques, and financial principals.

Domestic and international travel may be required. Frequency of travel depends on what is required for marketing and sales.

May include lifting of 25lbs and may be exposed to manufactoring environments.

Pay 40K-45K per year plus commission

Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30p
