Description
Truck Jockey
The Truck Jockey is responsible for moving empty or full trailers from the yard to the dock or the dock to the yard.

Position Shift and Schedule
This is a full time position working on our 2 nd shift. This position will work Sunday through Thursday with a start time of 2:30pm during the winter months. The position will work Monday through Friday with a start time of 2:30pm during the summer months. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends and adapt to the changing schedule is required based on business needs.
Position Pay Rate
The hourly rate of pay for this position is $17.15 per hour. (This starting rate of pay will increase to $17.55 per hour as of April 5th).
Position Responsibilities
- Shuttle loaded trailers to the facility and return with empty trailers to be reloaded.
- Move trailers of shells and return the empties to be loaded.
- Have empties in the appropriate docks to be loaded.
- Ensure all trailers that are put in the dock are properly locked.
- Keep the flow of loaded trailers removed from the dock and replaced by empties as to not slow down the loading process.
- Provide yard checks as needed for trailer inventory.
- Operate a forklift as needed.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- 1 year of experience as a yard / truck jockey or CDL driving
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid CDL A and driver’s license
