Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute projects
independently and under general direction to deliver accurate and timely user-oriented
content - Write, edit, and design technical content for a
variety of audiences and with an emphasis on reusable and modular content - Understand and use new and existing Web/online
publishing trends and methods, content management tools, style sheets (CSS),
and HTML - Employ various authoring, Web, and desktop
publishing software tools to produce finished documentation for a variety of
outputs and devices including mobile, online help, electronic publications, and
PDF - Contribute to the development and achievement of
organizational goals and objectives - Represent the team and the Optum organization on
project assignments and when working with clients - Participate in the design, development, and
recommendations for documentation presentation, distribution systems, and
existing processes
Requirements
- High
School Diploma/GED. - 5+ years of experience planning and producing
technical documentation with experience in online delivery and emerging content
management methods. - Ability to interact, collaborate, and write with
and for multiple teams across all levels of the organization including
development, product marketing, customer support, and training. - Ability to plan, schedule and communicate and execute content delivery.
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Word.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience with software development
methodologies, particularly in agile development in a large-company environment. - Experience documenting complex healthcare,
financial, or other analytics software applications. - Knowledge of cascading style sheets (CSS) and
HTML and of their use in publishing and developing user-facing content.
