1st Shift Lab Technician - Full-time / Part-time

- This position is in the industrial coatings team, which manufactures coatings and paints. This particular team manufactures coatings for tractors, construction vehicles, and large equipment.
- Operate and troubleshoot coatings application equipment including a spray gun.
- Support laboratory and production department managers. Run QC analysys to verify products meet the customer standards. This could include gloss, gel, cure time, hardness, viscosity.
- The lab technician will be responsible for operating spray gun, basic physical property lab testing equipment, and small batch mixing equipment, 1 gallon or less.
- This is not a chemist job.
- This position will include routine sample prep work, cleaning and basic physical property testing.
- The data generated is used to help fulfill the Technical Department's major accountabilities: product development, sales services and service to production
- If a Lab Technician shows great initiative and aptitude for the chemistry, then they will be allowed to take on more technical work and help out with more advanced projects.
