A large manufactruing company located in Minnetonka, MN is looking for extrusion operators on day and night shift. This position is a direct placement with the comapny.
Duties:
-Operation of extrusion machines-The extrusion machine is a machine that maufactures filers. The filter roles look like painting roles. They have a hollow middle core and the machine wraps around fluffy stands of filter element around the role which looks like cotton candy.
-This machine will require a large amount of manuel and mechical set up (Preformed with hand & pnuematic tools as well as blue prints/schematics)
-Inspection of all product as it does come off the production line and inspecting samples through out the day to make sure the machine is producing product correctly.
-Trimming of filters to size
-Trouble shooting of machine with all mechanical aspects as needed.
-Fast production environment where candidates will be multitasking.
-Keeping accurate records of products (This will be hand writing on sheets/Writing must be clear)
-Basic data entry of trouble shooting information into the company database.
-Constant use of rulers to measure filters to specific sizes
-Frequent heavy lifting of products. Up to 60 lbs though out the work day.
-Candidates will be standing on there feet all day.
Requirements:
-6 months+ of extrusion operation and set up.
-Able to use blue prints and hand tools.
