Aerotek is currently hiring for a full time Industrial Mechanic in Davenport, IA. This position will train on 1st shift, but will then move to either a 2nd or 3rd shift position. This position offers full benefits; medical, dental, and vision. As well as a 401k and lucrative raise structure.
Job Description:
The Industrial Mechanic will be responsible for preventative maintenance and repair maintenance on high speed packaging equipment in the food industry. The main equipment they will be repairing will be automated packaging equipment and process equipment.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of processing equipment, packaging lines and other industrial equipment.
- Changeover and set-up high speed packaging equipment.
- Adhere to all identified GMP's.
- Follow all safety guidelines.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required
- Minimum 4 years' experience in an industrial setting
- 4 years' experience performing preventative maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
