POSITION SUMMARY:

Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Ensure safe work environment for all employees and visitors.

* Operates forklift truck or uses hand-truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.

* Locates and pulls material for production in accordance with the daily production schedule as directed. Uses the performance database to input activities as prescribed by warehouse guidelines

* Uses computer system to inquire on skid and material locations.

* Receives incoming material. Enters receipts into computer system

* Locates and pulls all material for special requests.

* Process orders through the UPS and Federal Express computers.

* Affixes' shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.

* Physically moves material for destruction notices, assists inventory to process INCA's.

* Close computers at the end of each day.

* Responsible for general housekeeping of warehouse area.

* Performs cycle counts.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:



Education/ Training: High School Diploma or GED.

Business Experience: Six months related experience and/ or training.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

* Forklift Certification

* Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System)

* Proficient in use of Excel

* Basic Math Skills

* Use of Scale Counter

* Lifting up to 50 - 70 lbs.
