Cash Application Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

Responsible for receiving, posting, and depositing all accounts receivable.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Download cash receipts and print wires from Lockbox
2. Communicate with account analyst to request backup for deposits, reconciliations and research
3. Apply all Bank deposits, wires, and credit card batches accurately and timely
4. Process credit card payments
5. Create manual invoices as needed
6. Link credit and/or unallocated cash to manual invoices as needed
7. Scan all batches
8. Print chargeback invoices
9. Maintain cash application spreadsheets
10. Assist team members and special projects
11. Complete Invoice Validation process, and performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience and Education Requirements:

Requires two (2) to four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience. AS400 or BAAN experience a plus, but not required.

5. Understand basic bookkeeping principles and strong mathematical and analytical skills
6. Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
7. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
8. Strong problem solving skills – research and reconciliation experience preferred
9. Strong 10-Key skills
