The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a Sales Engineer for our Carrier Sales Engineering Group. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Essential Job Functions:
The Sales Engineer (SE) will be responsible for supporting TWC ' s Cell Tower Backhaul (CTBH) customers. Working with regional account teams that are focused on selling Backhaul Transport, Metro Ethernet (MAN/WAN), and DOCSIS technologies to TWC customers throughout the United States. SE will provide consultative pre-sales technical work as part of the TWC Business account team and internal Engineering organizations to develop proposals, and recommend TWC solutions to meet the customer ' s business requirements. Other account assignments and SE activities will be coordinated by SE management and designated account team (s).
- Assess clients ' business and technical needs.
- Technical and product presentations (network design, consulting, and formal proposal writing).
- This position will focus on TWC CTBH customer with solutions including Macro, Small Cell, DAS and dark fiber
- This position will also work with various internal organizations (network engineering, operations, product, and IT) to develop unique service offerings to meet the needs of our customers.
- As a member of the account team, the SE will help develop technical responses and strategy for RFI ' s and RFP ' s.
- SME for TWC CTBH services and solutions, proof of concept designs to internal TWC engineering and support organizations.
- Keep abreast of new industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with all Policies and Procedures.

Job Requirements:
This position requires an in-depth working knowledge across multiple technical disciplines and vendor products that include Data and Wireless communications, Backhaul technologies, Converging technologies, Broadband, LTE, CPRI, Packet Wireless, RF, IP, WDM, MPLS/VPLS and LAN/WAN integration.
- Candidate must have experience in the design and/or implementation of complex Metro Ethernet, Wireless, RF, MPLS, and/or DOCSIS solutions.
- Candidate should possess strong problem solving skills and self-motivation: ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action.
- Candidate must be able to work autonomously and in an account team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills required.
- Experience supporting and presenting to large Enterprise customers and interfacing with executive leaders, carrier experience preferred.
- Network Certification preferred (Cisco, ALU, Juniper).
- Understanding of MEF required. CECP 2.0 Certification will be required (will work with right candidate to obtain).
Other vendor training/certifications would be a benefit.

Required Qualifications:
- In-depth working knowledge of Wireless and Backhaul technologies. - Experience in the design and/or implementation of complex Metro Ethernet, Wireless, RF, MPLS, and/or DOCSIS solutions.
- Strong problem solving skills and self-motivation.
- Ability to work autonomously and in an account team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- MEF-CECP certification.Education and Experience:
Bachelor ' s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
No Supervisory responsibilities with this position.
