Aerotek Engineering working with a top 20 Architectural & Engineering Firm in Alexandria, VA. Our client is looking for a a Mechanical Engineer with 3-8 years of experience in the Mechanical Engineering Industry. This Candidate will be designing HVAC systems for multiple commercial projects in the DC Metro Area. Candidates can expect from day one to gain an enormous amount of responsiblity with the company. They will be working side by side with the Project Manager, since it's a smaller engineering team. So it is imperative for individuals to have at minimal an understanding of HVAC design, calculations, proper equipments and layouts.
Top 3 Skills
- 3 plus years of experience Designing HVAC systems
- Working Knowledge in Revit, (experience working on projects in Revit within the last 2 years)
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferrably
A majority of their projects are converting to revit so someone needs to have experience using this software. They do not need to operate at an expert level, however at minimum they should have used the software within the past 2 years and no how to do redlines and production work if need be throughout the software.
