The Physician Liaison will work directly with the provider community to engage physicians in quality initiatives and integrated care delivery system. The goal is to collaboratively work with our providers to meet or exceed performance measures and promote preventive health strategies and initiatives

Duties:
- Serve as a resource/liaison to providers for the Partnership for Quality Programs
- Perform on-site visits to network provider offices, providing partnership for quality materials, education, training, and receiving feedback
- Interface with network providers (Physicians), serving as a liaison between departments, community partners, and other agencies
- Engage providers in approaches to address Partnership for Quality initiatives
- Encourage feedback from providers on performance, programs, and assistance
- Communicate feedback to respective departments
- Identify opportunities for increased effectiveness and efficiencies in promoting preventive health strategies and initiatives
- Increase Engagement between Provider and Member for best quality outcomes
- Work in concert with Partnership for Quality Manager to develop and implement plans with providers to assist providers in reaching the performance indicators in their contracts
- Track and trend outcomes for services and implement plans of action related to providers to shift trends, when necessary.
- Develop and enhance a system of management reporting on benchmarks to provide timely and relevant information on overall effectiveness in all areas of responsibility
- Monitor and communicate outcomes including but not limited to performance measures, STARS, RAF.
- Identify and communicate gaps in care and key indicators.

Qualifications:

-Must be able to travel throughout the Phoenix Metro area

- Must have experience talking to providers, ideally in person and over the phone, and working heavily with health insurance and quality guidelines
- Strong customer service, marketing, or sales experience within the medical field
- Any secondary education is preferred
- 2+ years of Managed Care/HMO/Medicare/Medicaid experience or experience working in a clinical setting
- Strong in person presentation skills
