About this job
Aerotek is seeking a Chemist. The Chemist will be responsible for research and development and bench lab work for a stone manufacturing company.
Other Duties:
*Responsible for conducting studies on stone and analyzing and sampling their existing products.
*Compounds of studies include water repellents, natural stone, brick, paints, and pigments
*Perform masonry substrate testing and corrosion studies and follow ASTM testing protocols and quality SOPs
*Knowledge of DIN standards is a plus
*Ability to complete tasks within a customer set deadline and communicate efficiently with customers and provide lab tours and demonstrations to visitors for projects
*Prepare lab for customer and 3rd party audits
*Knowledge of running an entire laboratory operation from product development through documentation and quality control.
