Food Service - Full-time / Part-time

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Food Service.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Food Service Summary: We are seeking a Food Service worker to join our team. The Food Service Associates will work on the patient tray line - preparing patient meals based on menus, delivering to nursing stations, and performing dish room and sanitation services. Food Service Responsibilities: * Read productions orders on menu cards to determine items to be placed on trays taking into account patient dietary constraints. * Place food, eating utensils, napkins, and condiments on trays, and examine filled trays for completeness. * Prepare food items, such as sandwiches, salads, soups and beverages. * Load and unloaded food carts and take them to the nursing stations on the patient floors. * Collect and stack dirty dishes on carts and returned to the kitchen. * Wash dishes and performing sanitation services in the dish room as needed. Food Service Requirements: * Prior food service experience required, including an understanding of safe food handling. * Ability to read orders on menu cards and prepare patient trays with good quality. * A detail and quality orientation with good customer service skills. * Prior Food Service experience in a healthcare facility preferred but not required.
