Top Three Skills: 3-phase electrical troubleshooting, Pneumatics/Hydraulics, Mechanical Ability (Crane experience is preferred but not 100% needed) Job Description: ______is currently in need of 1 Service Technician to work in their crane division. Technicians are expected to go out to client sites and troubleshoot overhead cranes electrically and mechanically and communicate with customers. This is an electrically driven position with mechanical aspects as well. Candidates will get a company truck, although depending on their ability they could be working with a partner for the first few weeks to months to shadow.
Hours are typically 7a-330p, although it is a service industry job so hours could depend on the client being serviced. Candidates could also be asked to work off shifts or weekends if the client needs. overtime is 1.5 after 40 hours. if they are called in off shift they get double time and atleast 4 hours no matter how long they stay on site.
Candidates need basic hand tools, wrenches, hammers, etc.
PLC TRoubleshooting is considered a bonus skill
Bohl Crane does documentation using ipads, candidates need to be able to do basic computer documentation. if they can operate a smart phone, they will be able to handle this.
Work Environment: This is a service oriented position. Their culture is client first, and quality is very important. It's important to respond quickly to client requests. These candidates could be working 50-65 hours per week at times, including saturdays. Qualifications: Performance Expectations: Client based. Their given orders and issues to troubleshoot at client sites per day. They're evaluated by Rob and the client mostly. Interview Information: this person will report out of the marion office, and work the Lima territory which will include cities like delphos, van wert, findlay, kenton. will interview down in Lima or Marion office with crane manager. Additional Compensation: They are open to getting raises after yearly evaluations based on customer interaction, quality, and if they're furthering their education, etc. basically raises are earned through hard work and bettering your skills.
