NAPA Auto Parts is seeking a PASSIONATE retailer who has already demonstrated a talent for engaging customers and is looking for the next step in their career. As a Retail Business Development Manager you will provide retail leadership to a terriroty of retail stores, with a view to delivering superior customer experiences. You will be directly accountable for ensuring overall store standards are maintained to the highest possible level, including basic housekeeping, planograms price labels, out of stocks and exemplary customer service.

Responsibilities 1)  Recruitment and Team Leadership   o  Ensure that there is a nominated retail specialist (CCA, RTL and / or RC) in all retail impact stores o  Actively seek talent to fill these positions o  Work with local HR teams to source candidates o  Sign off all store level recruitment for retail specialists o  Create succession plans in conjunction with the Store and Area Manager o  Develop retention plans for all retail specialists o  Facilitate new retail specialist team member induction

2)  Ensure Retail Impact stores are maintained to ‘best in class’ retail standards

o  All stores to strictly adhere to the Store Standards guidelines o  All marketing programs implemented on day one of the promotion o  Establish full adherence to  daily, weekly and monthly retail processes o  Superior levels of customer service at all times

3)Coach, mentor and train store based team members, in regards to:

The Retail Basics:

o  Basic Housekeeping o  ePlanogram compliance o  Shelf label accuracy o  Out of Stock Management and o  Know How To Ask promotional program

Customer Service and Selling skills:

o  Greet the customer o  Engage with the customer o  Add on sales and solution selling   Securing future business

In store merchandizing:

o  Bulk Stack outs, end caps, side wings, clip strips, impulse zones o  Point of Sale material and promotional pricing o  Front and Facing the shelves o  Managing store’s inventory levels through min / max system

4)     Communication

o  Provide clear and effective communication to all stake holders o  Develop effective relationships with Store, Area, District and General Managers o  Develop regular communication channel between retail specialists o  Participate in regular tele conference calls with VP Retail o  Provide feedback on process opportunities to the retail team

Qualifications 1)  Must have retail experience, having achieved at least the level of Store Manager 2)  Must have led a team and be able to demonstrate strong influencing skills 3)  Must have an absolute passion for customer service 4)  Must have experience with in store merchandizing, promotional displays and price labels 5)  A strong communicator 6)  Good business acumen and competent from an analytical and numerical perspective 7)  Outgoing, high energy, with a positive can do attitude 8)  A self-starter who has the drive and confidence to make tough decisions
