Research Associate - Full-time / Part-time

Job Responsibilities:
Research Associate 1 or 2 to join a team that will develop molecular tests for the identification of microbial analytes in support of regulatory applications for the company's in vitro diagnostic products. This position will require the candidate to perform general lab duties, design and conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and keep an accurate record of all work done in accordance with the quality system. Position normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments, and requires some problem solving skills. This person works closely with other research associates in the research lab, and will report to a scientist.

PCR experience.

Degree in Biology/Chemistry/Biochemistry is prefered. Associates degree is sometimes acceptable for Research Associate Level 1. Research Associate Level 2 needs a 4 year degree with 2-3 years of experience (academic lab experience can be acceptable but they would prefer industrial experience where the research they were doing applies to a real product).
