A Retail Sales Merchandiser (RSM) showcases ASM customer's products at retail accounts to increase sales and product exposure by building and maintaining attractive displays, ensuring that customers' and clients' expectations are met (and often exceeded!).

Retail Sales Merchandiser Job Responsibilities:

Meet client and company objectives by maintaining full distribution on all authorized SKU’s.

Working knowledge of customer, operations and personnel.

Build rapport with customers.

Achieve client goals and objectives by effectively managing stores within your territory and executing projects and standards.

Increase brand representation and effectiveness through establishing and maintaining customer and client relationships.

Maintain client objectives by ensuring all authorized client items represented on the shelf have accurate and complete tags, making certain that un-saleable or out-of-code products are removed.

Increase sales volumes through promotional activity by selling and building displays, creating themes to support holiday/special promo events, and making plan-o-gram adjustments.

Maintain schematic standards by ensuring all authorized items are in distribution and set to shelf standards.

Retail Sales Merchandiser Job Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Previous retail experience.

Strong initiative with the ability to work independently with little supervision.

Good basic computer, organizational, and follow-up skills.

Mathematic and analytical ability.

Good written and verbal communication skills. Bi-lingual is a plus.

Clean MVR report, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of appropriate automobile insurance.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

The Natural/Specialty Retail Sales Merchandiser (NSRSM) is responsible for servicing and selling to retail accounts within an assigned territory to assure client standards are met and volume is increased.

Distribution:

Meet Client and Company objectives by maintaining full distribution on all authorized SKU’s

Customer Relations: (Internal/External)

Working knowledge of Customer, operations and personnel. Build rapport with Customers.

Store Conditions:

Achieve Client goals and objectives by effectively managing stores within your territory and executing projects and standards Increase brand representation and effectiveness through establishing and maintaining Customer and Client relationships

Merchandising:

Maintain Client objectives by ensuring all authorized Client items represented on the shelf have accurate and complete tags, making certain that un-saleable or out-of-code product is removed

Sales:

Increase sales volume through promotional activity by selling and building displays, creating themes to support holiday/special promo events, and making plan-o-gram adjustments Increase sales volume by suggesting and completing orders for new and out-of-stock items

Shelf Standards:

Maintain schematic standards by ensuring all authorized items are in distribution and set to shelf standards Increase promotional effectiveness through placement of appropriate point of sale material and displays

New Items:

Increase new item distribution through product rotation, elimination of out-of-code product, and ensuring that back stock inventory is available

Administration/Reporting:

Communicate all competitive activity and necessary information supervisor

Call Coverage:

Maintain 95% call coverage and 90% call frequency

Job Requirements:

Continuously (66-100% of shift): Pull, Push, Kneel, Use Hands and/or Legs for Simple Grasping, Lifting and/or Carrying Up to ten pounds (sedentary level)
