We are currently hiring a Senior IT Architect for the Segment Solutions Group in the Financial and Enterprise Admin Domain.  In this role you will work as a key part of a dynamic team focused on providing architectural support on application and strategic initiatives.  This is a high visibility role with considerable opportunity for driving innovation and providing technical leadership in a group poised for growth. 

 

The ideal candidate should have extensive development, design and/or architecture experience with high transaction systems across a variety of technologies and the ability to design practical solutions. Candidate should also possess demonstrated leadership capabilities.

 

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Add value through alignment of business constituent needs and technology solutions within enterprise standards

  • Facilitate solutions that serve the enterprise mission of modernization and simplification

  • Provide innovate solutions and support for a wide cross section of technical challenges

  • Lead and collaborate with domain development teams as primary Solution Architect

  • Drive domain program solution analysis and creation of required documentation

  • Collaborate and support Financial Domain in Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure teams

  • Coordinate, administer and support road mapping, blue printing and solution implementation activities

  • Maintain a level of Financial Domain expertise as well as awareness of the external market place

  • Review the work of others

Requirements


Required Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of IT development and/or architecture experience

  • 5+ years of experience leading projects, programs or application teams where collaboration/communication was critical with business partners and technology resources

  • Demonstrated ability to understand issues of clients, the industry and the business environment

  • Strong facilitation skills to synthesize and communicate solution requirements

  • Experience interacting and consulting with senior leaders and/or outside vendors on complex issues

  • Experience with strategic planning, portfolio management, and/or application/technology road mapping

  • Understanding of technological infrastructure and how it relates to project solutions and integration

 Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Exposure to high-profile projects with multiple system integrations

  • Experience in commercial software development and release 

  • Design and development of scalable SOA based solutions

  • Understanding of SAAS and Cloud computing technologies

  • Design and development of scalable N-Tier solutions

  • Design and development of Web portals/services/mobility applications

  • Experience with various modeling methodologies such as UML

  • Healthcare industry experience

  • Financial Systems experience (Billing, Payment, Finance)
