We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk in Carol Stream! Pay up to $15/hr!!.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Temp to Perm!! 1st shift 7am-3:30pm M-F Shipping/Receiving/Packing Clerk Job Summary (Primary Function) Performs a combination of duties to pack and ship products to customer and to receive raw materials necessary to process orders. Organizes and maintains inventories. Prepare required shipping and receiving reports and documents. Create bills of leading for LTL freight and coordinates with freight carrier's pick up of shipment. Job Responsibilities (Essential Functions) 1. Receives finished product, reviews instructions and customer specifications for packing and shipping. Prepares required shipping documents. 1.Packs order following appropriate procedures. 2.Weighs shipment, addresses container and places on skid for removal. 3.Operates postage meter, computer, calculator and hand tools. 4.Receives raw materials and equipment necessary for production of customer orders and tools scheduled for rework, by mail, express carriers (UPS, Federal Express, etc.) and trucking carriers. 5.Identifies contents of all incoming shipments, takes count, checks for damages, makes entries into system or log journals for record keeping and notifies purchasing and other appropriate individuals. 6.Uncrates, organizes, sorts, and prepares goods for storage or distribution to designated department(s). 7.Performs a variety of material distribution tasks to deliver materials to work areas. Conduct appropriate transactions in ERP system that account for changes in inventory balances. 8.Maintains accurate records and logs. 9.Maintains clean and orderly work area. 10.Follows all safety procedures, including the wearing of required protective equipment. 11.Performs other duties as directed by Department Supervisor. 12.Adherence to the Quality Policy and Standard Operating Procedures. Job Requirements (Evaluation Factors: Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Ability) 1.SKILL Education/Trade Knowledge *Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and have basic reading, writing, and math skills. *Forklift certified driver a plus. *Must possess good verbal and written communication skills. *Must have good eye and hand coordination to complete job tasks. *Must possess the ability to use personal computer and calculator Apply on-line and e-mail resume to marcy.peterson@manpower.com
