Field Service Engineer

A large, growing manufacturing company in Arvada, CO is hiring for an experienced field service engineer. This position will be responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, and making PLC modifications to their products both at customer sites and in their manufacturing facility.


Responsibilities:
* Ensure Customer Satisfaction is achieved and maintained by providing Customer PlusOne Service in an ethical and professional way to our Customers and Channel Partners
* Provide on-jobsite technical expertise and supervision over installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and troubleshooting of the companies products, with emphasis on controls and instrumentation working with the Controls Engineering department as required.
* Always perform your job with safety as your primary concern and take all required safety training courses in house and on Customer job site
* Conduct on-site training classes as well as participate in the quarterly factory training courses
* Interface professionally with the Customer, our Channel Partners, and internally with other support departments
* Perform warranty evaluations on site and on returned hardware
* Create cases and manage them to resolution in the MS Dynamics CRM software system to respond to requests from our Customers and Channel Partners
* Become certified in the in-house Quality program
* Interact and provide feedback to other departments to Provide Continuous Improvement for our products and processes
* Completion of specific projects assigned during the year
* Timely and accurate submittal of all required paperwork e.g. site reports, expense reports, etc.
* Travel up to 50% of the time

Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical qualifications in mechanical/ electrical engineering or physical sciences
* Excellent people skills and ability to act independently when required
* Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
* Experience with Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLC control logic
* Technical curiosity and desire to solve problems
