At Mountain States Employers Council (MSEC), we value our members, employees, relationships, services and our integrity. MSEC is a non-profit membership organization that provides human resources expertise to businesses in the Rocky Mountain region. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Specialized Legal Services (SLS) team at our location in downtown Denver.

The Administrative Assistant for (SLS) provides support and coordination of general business activities for the SLS team in support of our members. This is a clerical position providing administrative support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and have a service-oriented approach toward our employees and our members.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
*Provide information to members regarding MSEC services
*Prepare orders and correspondence
*Order supplies and materials
*Maintain office equipment
*Compile special periodic reports involving some project work
*Respond to inquiries into poster service, track and ship orders, follow up with members
*Fill in template letters for managers. Copy and scan packets to send out. Manage electronic files, Ensure data is current on shared sites
*Invoice for filing fees and delivery
*Set up files for projects and assist specialists with new projects. Update Access database for each new order for new projects.
*Provide support to various project teams. Proof and edit final reports for print. Create letters that go along with the reports. Manually label exhibits of the reports. Keep client tracking for the projects. May involve pulling reports for follow up as well as files for further involvement.
*Rotating Call group - take calls for questions and orders to Specialized Legal Services group. Duties may involve emailing service information, entering orders, or checking order status.
*Create monthly reporting on revenue for posters. Upload and save data and save spreadsheets
*Occasional invoicing for any involved travel.

Qualifications/Education
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
*High school diploma (or equivalent)
*A minimum of one to three years of work-related experience in an office environment.
*Proven ability to keep information confidential a must
*Knowledge of fundamental administrative and clerical procedures, maintaining files, operating phone systems, general office equipment
*Proficient with Microsoft Office software
*Familiarity with desktop publishing software
*Ability to edit and proofread material for accuracy and completeness
*Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
*Ability to be punctual and manage time effectively
*Ability to provide timely and accurate follow-through on projects, member or staff requests
