Job Description

Position: Quality Assurance Coordinator
Job Status: PT 
 
Objective:

The Quality Assurance Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of duties in the area of client services.  The Quality Assurance Coordinator is expected to conduct quality assurance calls and visits in order to provide the highest standard of service to clients.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Reflect the core values of HJBW Enterprises, LLC, (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise)
  •  Develop and maintain positive relationships with all clients through quality assurance (QA) visits, phone calls, cards, and special events
  • Conduct QA visits with clients in person or over the phone according to the QA frequency guidelines
  • Conduct follow up calls/visits
  • Review and assess CAREGiver documentation and records
  • Counsel CAREGivers on quality assurance concerns after visiting clients
  • Conduct client/CAREGiver introductions as scheduled
  • Enter and maintain accurate client and CAREGiver records in database
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with owner, colleagues and CAREGivers
 
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Participate in CAREGiver meetings
  • Conduct care consultations with prospective clients as needed
  • Network with agencies, facilities, and companies related to the aging field.
 
Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field focusing on geriatric field.
  • Knowledge of the senior care industry

  • None
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently, maintain confidential information, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills essential as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills
  • Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures
  • Ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly and yearly work
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with management, colleagues, franchise owners and their staff
  • Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must be patient and congenial on the telephone 
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel
  • Ability to work evenings or weekends as required
 
Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be compliant with New York State Motor Vehicle laws and must follow the Policy that pertains to Driver’s License requirements as a condition of employment.
  • Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, pre-employment drug screen, 3 professional and 1 personal reference checks
