We are looking for a: Part-time Coordinator of Fun
We are Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association or NSSRA. We offer more than 100 programs and events during the year and serve approximately 1500 different individuals with disabilities in creative arts, sports, drama, dance, cooking and many other fun areas.
We are looking for individuals who would enjoy playing with our participants from preschoolers, youth and teen through adults and seniors. We are in need of staff that would enjoy creating and implementing meaningful and creative programs for our participants. In our programs you will directly impact the interaction, enjoyment and fulfillment of every participant you work with, by assisting them with learning new skills, communicating with others and enjoying life to its fullest!!!!
This position is ideal for you if you:
-Enjoy creating weekly activity plans for fun, exciting programs
-Enjoy working directly with people with disabilities
-Willing to lead staff in program function
-Enjoy being involved in activities and community events throughout the Northshore area
-Are highly motivated and enthusiastic
-Are at least 19 years old
