About this job

Oversee and perform a variety of duties to maintain, repair and install company electrical equipment. Repair, install, replace and test
electrical circuits, equipment and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments. Inspect and test electrical lighting, signal,
communication and power circuits. Isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors and other electrical equipment using testing instruments
such as ammeter, ohmmeter, voltmeter, testing lamp or growler. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain any type of electrical equipment
systems, instruments, communication and control systems or components. Lubricate and change filters on equipment as scheduled or
required. Make related mechanical repair necessary to effect electrical, electronic and/or air conditioning repairs. Install and monitor
performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments or replacement. Oversee or perform complex or difficult
maintenance repairs or installations. Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as
gears, brushes and armatures. Mount control boxes and cabinets and run conduit using good workmanship and generally accepted
electrical practices. Lay out, size conductors, pull wire, terminate, phase and energize power supply to machines or systems.
Troubleshoot industrial electrical circuitry of moderate complexity. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures Perform
other duties as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge: Facility Maintenance and repair, including machining and electrical. Knowledge of hydraulic systems.
Machines required to use (specify machines): PC, hand and power tools
Special Qualifications: Seven years experience in manufacturing environment
Degree/Education: HS Diploma. Electrician Trade Certificate

This position has a Pay Rate of $24.00 per hour.

This position is 12-months temp assignment with the possibilities of it going log-term with Alcoa. At this time, there is no guarantee it will turn into a permanent position.
