Accounts Receivable Manager

PrideStaff Financial has partnered with our Plano based client in search of an Accounts Receivable Manager to join their growing team! The client has a global presence and this is a fantastic direct hire opportunity for an experienced AR Manager looking to build a team!

The ideal candidate will be energetic with at least five years of Accounts Receivable management expertise. The candidate will make and sustain a positive impact by improving collection performance and optimizing free cash flow!

Salary: $75,000- $85,000

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide strong leadership to collections teams to support cash collection targets, decreasing DSO
• Establish best practices and policies for cash applications, collections and disputes team.
• Execute bad debt reporting and work with internal revenue team to ensure monthly entries are handled appropriately.
• Work directly with internal customers: Sales, C-level Executive team, Treasury, Billing and Outsourced Management team.
• Manage and support continuous improvement projects
• Build an all-star AR team, provide training, mentoring and feedback on performance.
• Oracle r12 and Discoverer is system that is currently utilized for accounting

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in Accounts Receivable Management is required
• Strong l eadersh i p skills - the ability to persuade and gain buy- i n at all l eve l s
• Excellent analytical skills, with knowledge of collections, credit, accounting and finance principles, experienced in assessing portfolio and customer risk
• Ability to adjust to and work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment
• Superior verbal and written communicat i on skills ( at all l eve l s of management)
• Direct and indirect management skills
• Good conflict management and negotiation skills
• Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Oracle r12 and Discoverer is system that is currently utilized for accounting
• Excel, Power Point
