Have an eye for detail? Warehouse Markers are responsible for accurately marking merchandise for resale, examining all merchandise as it is priced, checking for damages, and bringing damaged goods to the attention of the supervisor.
Warehouse Markers at Universal Orlando are responsible for:
- Marking merchandise received into the warehouse using labeling equipment, pre-priced stickers, etc.
- Inspecting merchandise for damage or flaws and reporting damage or flaws to supervision.
- Prioritizing ticketing of merchandise and instructing associates on ticketing process by category.
- Lifting cases of merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds from floor or storage shelves to tables for unloading and marking.
- Maintaining cleanliness and neatness of the work area.
- Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policies, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
To perform the role of a Warehouse Marker successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One year related work experience helpful. Must be able to lift heavy items; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

- While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to talk or hear, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The individual is frequently required to stand, and climb or balance. The individual is occasionally required to sit and walk.
- The individual must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
