Quality Control - Full-time / Part-time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare business products, personal, end-stub and top-stub checks
Package personal, end-stub, top-stub and business checks for shipping
Inspect work after processing in binding equipment
Process all starter kits and counter documents
Key and scan UPS shipments
Scan and meter priority mail shipments
Shrink-wrap personal, end-stub, top-stub and business checks
Drop and replace standard mailbags
Pull special handling requests, including restarts, from work process

Employees in this position may be asked to perform other duties as assigned within the department or other areas of production. Conditions which may make this necessary include, but are not limited to, machine down time, work flow/project deadlines, special projects, illness of coworkers or any special situation as determined by the management team within the department.

Ability to handle multiple tasks, good organizational skills and work with little supervision.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
