Home Instead Senior Care in New Braunfels Seeking a Warm/Caring Training and Retention Specialist to join office team that employs CAREgivers that Assist Local Seniors living in their Homes!
The successful applicant is expected to train and work with CAREGivers in a personable and professional manner as well as create a positive personal work experience for CAREGivers. The successful applicant will be responsible for the following activities:
Previous job experience training in a health related or senior services field as well as a Bachelor’s degree is required. Experience as an LVN, as a HR specialist or manager of hourly workers is a plus. The TRS must be willing to share paid evening, weekend and holiday On-Call Supervisor responsibilities on a rotating basis. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook and other basic computer functions. Reliable transportation required. The Training and Retention Specialist is a full time position and the rate of pay is dependent on experience, and education.

- Plan and successfully execute CAREGiver meetings, holiday/special events
- Manage/supervise/evaluate CAREGiver job performance/evaluations.
- Prepare and publish the monthly CAREGiver newsletter
- Administer and conduct all CAREGiver recognition/retention programs
