Production Control Analyst

Basic Function/ Purpose

The Production Control Analyst is responsible for delivery of Business Units reports and services. This position is responsible for performing business critical tasks during the night shift by following documented procedures and adhering to strict schedules. Responsible for processing, monitoring and maintaining batch processing schedules.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow and update documented processes and procedures
  • Manually run batch cycles via Windows Based application platforms
  • Ensure timely completion of all nightly processes
  • Meet service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Problem determination, problem isolation and escalation
  • Submit, monitor and maintain nightly batch schedules
  • Identify improvement opportunities


Technical Competencies
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 3 to 5 years experience in IT Help Desk, Call Center, Computer Operations, Production Support, PC Hardware / Software Technician
  • Working knowledge of XP, Win7, Server 2003 / 2005 / 2008
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – 2007
  • Experience with PCs (H/W and S/W), Win / Unix Servers, IP, Internet, DNS
  • Familiarity with Citrix, RDP Operations, Oracle, SQL DB, SQL Server, Visual Studio, C#, .Net helpful
  • MS Certs and/or equivalent experience a plus

Hours may vary: 9pm-7am, 4 nights per week
