Job: Systems Integration Engineer
Location: Washington, DC
Pay: Salary $140,000

Functional Responsibilities
The Systems Integration Engineer is a highly technical position responsible for the design, implementation and integration of ARCHIBUS Workplace Management System.

-This role requires a customer focus, a deep understanding of the product, excellent communication, organization & multi-tasking skills and an outstanding level of technical proficiency.

-Requires a hands on approach within both a team and individual work setting contributing to all aspects of system integration including design, needs analysis, design review, testing, implementation, validation, system maintenance, configurations, version upgrades and report generation.

-Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently with little supervision and possess the ability to decipher highly technical data, solve complex problems and meet tight deadlines. In addition, may be required to provide training to internal and external team members and customers.

Essential Duties
-Gather and analyze available data and current processes to establish system requirements
-Develop work plans and estimates as they relate to systems integration work tasks and team members
-Research, evaluate, and recommend systems/equipment/technologies based upon client needs
-Interface with various team members such as government stake holders, management, administration and support staff as needed
-Manage the development and implementation of test plans and procedures based upon system recommendations; and provide client with post-installation and integration support.

Technical Requirements:
-Experience in installation and configuration of ARCHIBUS products required.
-Skilled in database administration on multiple platforms (Oracle & MSSQL Server).
-Experience with ARCHIBUS programming utilizing Java, JavaScript, HTML and SQL programming language.
-Ability to assist customer with the creation of reporting requirements.
-Ability to analyze the programs and processes developed by others and provide objective recommendations.
-Understanding of facilities, facilities engineering management and workplace management software is essential.

Education & Experience
8-12 years of related software development experience. 8 years of direct ARCHIBUS experience. ARCHIBUS Certification preferred. Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline such as engineering, computer engineering, computer science, information systems or mathematics. Master’s preferred.
