Primary Responsibilities:
- Daily Application Support duties
- Provide Tier 2 support for new PICTS application
- Learn the application and quickly become a SME
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the application
- Ability to be on an on-call rotation
- Work directly with users to troubleshoot issues
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Professional experience working in a UNIX/Linux environment vs Windows environment
- 3+ years of technical applications support and/or support industry experience preferably in a hosted services environment
- 2+ years working with Oracle and writing SQL Queries
- 2+ years of troubleshooting technical issues
- Willingness to work in an on-call rotation
- Strong customer service skills
- Professional experience working with Websphere
- Professional experience working with Mule/Apache
- Previous experience using TIVOLI or other job scheduling tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- ITIL problem, change and incident management
- HPSM experience
- Proven ability to recommend and drive change
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong technical aptitude with experience in the following:
- SFTP aset
- UNIX/Linux Operating systems
- Cordys or Al Fresco experience
