Positions in this function conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning. They support short and long term operational/strategic business activities by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. They also develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, review, forecast, and trend complex data 
  • Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning 
  • Support short and long term operational/strategic business activities through analysis 
  • Develop recommended business solutions through research and analysis of data and business process and implement when appropriate 
  • Gathering data and insight from multiple sources to build cohesive, clear Senior level Reporting - demonstrating trends and calling out risk indicators
  • Providing subject matter expertise in areas including reporting, data capture, process analysis, data analysis and other areas of expertise based on professional knowledge and background
  • Ability to analyze root-cause issues, problem solve and provide recommendations for cost saving process improvements
  • Using logic and methods to solve complex process issues, evaluating innovative alternative courses of action to make sound, optimal business decisions
  • Documenting, communicating and facilitating dissemination of critical information and required artifacts in a timeline manner. 
  • Working closely with business partners to understand business needs
  • Driving discussion to identify all stakeholders, requirements, and measurable success criteria.
  • Collaborating with technology partners to identify, review and assess solution options to business needs and driving selection of final solution
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at one time, both as a project lead and participant
  • Ability to manage adhoc tasks, as assigned
  • Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed.
  • Works with less structured, more complex issues.
  • Serves as a resource to others.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Associate's
    Degree or HS diploma/GED with 2+ years of equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in business/finance analysis
  • 3+ years' experience gathering requirements from the client/business and
    documenting 
  • 3+ years experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking
    and / or evaluation of business processes required 
  • Intermediate level of
    proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database
    management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint and MS Project)
  • 2+
    years of working knowledge of relational databases, database structures


Preferred Qualifications:



 



  • Bachelor's
    degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, or related field
  • Ability
    to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and
    the business in writing and verbally
  • Ability
    to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting
    and/or inaccurate data
