Line Attendant - Full-time / Part-time

The Line attendant is responsible for the proper plating and service of the customers food and the overall efficiency and cleanliness of the service line and dining room. This includes the restrooms, sauce bar, beverage area and laundry room.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Knowledge of all products and ingredients for questions about allergies
• Knowledge of menu items for quick and efficient preparation
• Follow recipes on items such as kids pizza, grilled cheese, baba bites, pita chips to ensure consistent, high quality products
• Assist in storage of any items received for front of the house
• Follow proper personal hygiene and uniform policies
• Store all foods according to health department regulations
• Assist in keeping walk in cooler clean and organized
• Follow all rotation guidelines to avoid unnecessary waste and expense
• Keep all equipment cleaned and sanitized and ready for the next use
• Follow all cleaning and sanitizing procedures according to the master cleaning schedule
• Assist in keeping the tables in the dining area clean and sanitized and ready for use
• Empty the trash when necessary from dining area
• Keep floors and mats clean in the dining area
• Assist in removing of soiled dishes from the dining area when necessary
• Assist in keeping sauce and dressing bar full and clean during service
• Assist in keeping the hot line and cold lines full and rotated during service times
• Follow safety procedures and report any injuries or unsafe conditions to the supervisor
• Work well with other team members to complete all tasks
• Attend all training and meetings as required by management
• Complete all opening and closing checklists
• Ensure every customer enjoys their experience at Babaziki

Position Qualifications

• Able to read, write, and communicate with team members and customers as needed
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Fundamental understanding of sanitation, cleanliness and personal hygiene
• Regular, predictable, and dependable attendance.
• Requires moderate physical efforts, standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 60 pounds
• Good communication skills to relay essential information to other team members
• Able to meet the age requirements of the job

Work Environment. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to work in various temperatures, in a noisy environment, near moving mechanical parts, hot, cold, and dangerous equipment or sharp tools and around fumes, odors, dust or toxic chemicals. Long work hours, scheduled or unscheduled as emergencies arise.
