Summer and Seasonal Warehouse Product Selector

This position would provide 40 hours/week or more during the summer months. Candidates MUST have an open availability. All positions would require work on AT LEAST one weekend day.

As a Warehouse Product Selector, you will work hands-on with products, ensuring stores receive the items they ordered and are able to meet their customers' needs. Each case you accurately select will influence and contribute to the big picture success of our stores as they ensure customer satisfaction.

Providing incredible service to the stores by accurately selecting products; understanding the critical role the job plays in the day-to-day operations of the stores and their ability to provide incredible service to our customers
Ensuring products on lines are being selected and moved to the correct locations, keeping pace with equipment and machinery to prevent a slowing in workflow while achieving the minimum requirements of cases/ day or cases/ hour
Reading store order and/ or using Vocollect software during product selection, accurately selecting products based on the information received to ensure stores are delivered the items they have ordered
Building pallets of correctly selected products to be delivered to stores; ensuring pallets are neat and organized to minimize the risk of damaging product and enable stores to unload their deliveries more efficiently
Properly handling all products, equipment and machinery in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines
Maintaining open lines of communication with co-workers and supervisors to ensure the warehouse is operating efficiently and are working to provide incredible service to the stores


Work environment: · Work includes prolonged walking and standing and frequent heavy lifting, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending and reaching in order to assemble store orders in a variety of warehouse settings in a fast-paced environment. · Moves containers or cases onto pallets, conveyors and/or into shipping containers for distribution to the stores. · Work may involve exposure to and work in cold and/or below freezing temperatures. May also involve exposure to seasonally hot temperatures in some buildings. · May use power industrial trucks. · The average weight range of items lifted is 20-25 pounds with maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds occasionally.
