Customer Service Rep / Sales Assistant is needed for a temporary to hire opportunity with a highly sought after employer who offers an outstanding benefits package upon permanent placement as well as many employee perks such as an onsite gym, free refreshments throughout the day, just for starters. Hours / Compensation. Again this a temporary to permanent opening offering $12 to $13 an hour based on experience and an increase upon permanent placement, based on experience. Hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. Our client is requiring a minimum of 2+ years of customer service experience. Essential functions include but not limited to: Pull proof of deliveries, material test reports, certificates of compliance, upon request of customer and provide to customers. Review daily backorder list and communicate to customers in a timely fashion. Accurate write up of product returns and vendor returns. Take all "customer service" related calls, such as e.t.a's to customer, production schedule questions. Assist sales group at month end to update contract prices for each customer. Assist sales group with open order reports as needed. Assist sales with outsourcing non-stocked items. Assist sales with faxed customer specific inventory usage monthly. Contact customers in the event of driver delays, or missed stops. Assist with any special projects, such as maintenance of customer master, track new prospects, etc. Enter stock orders and work orders. Assist sales with all reasonable requests that would enable them to be more proactive in selling. Interact wit operational personnel on production scheduling / spreadsheets Adhere to Quality Policies at all times. Required Skills: Data entry of 7000ksph and typing of 4 wpm desired. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Good computer skills with MS Word and Excel.
