Join us in the exciting field of Healthcare Reform as an IT Operational Support Manager for Web based applications. As an IT Manager, you will be working with leading edge technologies, exciting and important products and working with a team of highly skilled IT professionals. Your responsibilities will include managing production incidents and problems, managing staff to resolve them, reporting to the business on product status and being accountable for SLA's and budget.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage a number of IT professionals to triage and resolve application reported incidents and problems meeting or exceeding SLA's on their resolution


• Managing application outages to restore service as quickly as possible


• On call escalation support 24x7x365


• Planning and communicating release plans with the business


• Providing business leaders regular status updates


• Ensuring that the team follows standard processes


• Develop plans to support product life cycle management


• Maintain and be accountable for your budget


• Leverage diversity and inclusion to drive employee engagement and foster teamwork and collaboration


• Demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior by complying with applicable laws, regulations and policies and requiring the same from others


• Maintain knowledge of and leverage IT industry/marketplace technologies in your work

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or higher) or equivalent work experience


• 5+ years of application development (or support) experience in a large enterprise environment


• 2+ years of experience leading teams and/or managing workloads for team members


• Prior experiences leading teams of distributed IT professionals


• Ability and willingness to hold on-call responsibilities to respond to system issues 24x7x365


• Prior experience leading development and/or support for large, middle tier, critical applications (preferably on multiple platforms)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Distributed software development experience


• Previous experience managing IT resources including offshore team members


• Previous budgeting experience


• Previous Healthcare industry experience
