HRIS Manager, HR Services – Plano, TX

The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Manager will support a function designed to enable fact-based people decisions through cost effective, end-user enabled and efficient people processes, systems and tools. Visibility and integrity of data is critical to our success and this role will manage our core SAP HR/Payroll platform from day-to-day operations to enhanced capability and analytics support.

Theideal candidate will have 7 years of experience in managing HR systems & implementations, 3 years project management experience, and 3 years managing an outsourced IT vendor, driving improvements in process throughout. They will be comfortable in a dynamic, fast paced environment, balancing day to day operational system demands, as well as taking a lead role on special projects. A candidate with a background in IT implementation either inside a corporation, or via professional experience as a management consultant would be viewed favourably. They will have managed others, a small team of 2-3 direct reports, as well as led cross functional teams tasked with HR IT deliverables.

This role in based in our Plano, TX headquarters, and reports into the Vice President of HR Services.



Responsibilities

System Support & Enhancements
  • SAP HR/Payroll System Support including:
  1. Facilitate process design and requirements gathering with HR and Business leaders to enable the development of tools and system capability
  2. Manage all system enhancements including IT quarterly enhancement process, business requirements documentation, functional/technical specifications review, testing and execution
  3. Manage all regulatory updates and requirements (Tubs, LCPs, etc)
  4. Application troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Manage all SAP HR/Payroll system interfaces and facilitate any new system integration
  • SAP Security governance, structure and controls
  • SAP HR/Payroll System Testing Strategy & Execution
  • SAP HR/Payroll System Disaster Recovery Strategy & Execution
  • Partner with IT organization to drive system enhancement roadmap & strategy based on Business needs and technology evolution
  • Serve as the HR Services liaison with the IT HCL team


Operations Management
  • Identify process improvements to simplify management of day-to-day business operations
  • Provide leadership, guidance and direction to business analysts and operations resources who execute and deliver system enhancements
  • Partner with Application, Maintenance & Support (AMS) and Payroll Managers to drive end-to-end process management, root cause analysis and resolution.


Project Management
  • Develop robust work plans to deliver on project objectives (timeline, scope, and budget)
  • Support internal resources, project communications, and business expectations for successful project delivery


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Five years SAP HR/Payroll/HRIS Technical experience
  • Three years Project Management experience
