Quality Systems Manager
The Quality Systems Manager is responsible for ensuring regional quality practices are managed effectively and efficiently in compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulations, DPSG Quality Policy, QMS Standards and all Codes of Practice prescribed for DPSG.

Manufacturing plants and RDC warehouses in the Dr Pepper Snapple Group Supply Chain.

Position Responsibilities:
1 Manage Regional Quality KPI performance and contract commitments to deliver continuous improvement targets.

2 Manage the development and training in Quality capability for manufacturing site (s). This includes the facilitation and sharing of Quality knowledge, expertise and best practice between sites. The manager works closely with the site Quality Managers to develop and roll out appropriate regional processes, procedures and SOPs to support the improvement of Quality capability at the manufacturing sites.

3 Provide regional oversight and direction of corrective actions related to the reduction of consumer, customer complaints, and regulatory contacts. This includes leading a monthly review of consumer complaints with the site managers in their region.

4 Conduct supplier audits consistent with the DPSG Supplier Standard and manage the relationship with key suppliers for the DPSG manufacturing group.

5 Conduct and manage the execution of process audits of the DPSG manufacturing sites in their region. This includes the development and closing of corrective actions with the site Quality and Production Managers in a timely manner.

6 Provide technical support to the R&D group in the execution of SIR and profit improvement projects.

7 Provide technical support to assist the manufacturing sites resolve persistent quality or performance issues. Projects should be identified to improve existing processes.

8 Participate in the development of quality policy and standards for the advance of overall Quality practice.

9 Support manufacturing plants in implementing and maintaining the DPSG Quality Policy, Standards, Processes, and Codes of Practice.

PRE-REQUISITES:
1. Strong interpersonal, organizational, negotiation and written/oral communications skills, with the ability to influence decision-making processes.

2. Experience in managing, coaching and developing direct reports.

3. Proven leadership and team building skills

4. Ability to balance the product quality implications and the business needs when making decisions.

5. Ability to surface issues and conflicts and find ways to resolve these conflicts.

7. Proven track record in developing, implementing and managing systems such as ISO 9000, ISO 14000, ISRS or comparable systems.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Science or equivalent.
2. 5 -10 years experience in quality management at or for Consumer Food/Beverage manufacturing sites.
3. Must possess Advanced level computer skills, including proficiency in SPC tools, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
