Primary Responsibilities:
You will be the lead developer that will design, develop and implement the infrastructure and reporting solutions needed in support our customers data opportunities. Either as an individual contributor or partnering with a report developer, you will; coordinate and write the business specifications and translate them into technical requirements/solutions, troubleshooting issues as they arise, design solutions and either implement on your own or manage the developer through implementation, learn the UHG IT world so you can utilize resources to create and design databases, schedule and create jobs, coordinate or complete ADHOC or analytical tasks, among others, to bring your projects to conclusion
- Generally, work is self-directed and not prescribed.
- Works with less structured, more complex issues.
- Serves as a resource to others.
- Ability to adapt to ever-changing environment
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field or High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of equivalent experience.
- 3+ years recent experience in a customer facing role leading and managing projects, including requirements and documentation.
- 5+ years of SQL/TSQL Development experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Data Modeling (Star/Snowflake), ETL construction with advanced job scheduling.
- 3+ years of experience performing significant data analysis and report development.
- 3+ years of experience relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management, data warehouse.
- 3+ years designing reporting databases/data warehouses
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced SQL Analysis Services (2008+) Experience
- Intermediate level of experience with SSRS.
- Dashboard Construction & Concepts (Tableau, SSRS, etc) experience.
- Tableau - MDX coding experience.
- Windows Server 2008/2012 experience.
- Knowledge with other database systems (Oracle/DB2/Hadoop).
