In 2009 CareMeridian opened their Arcadia facility, located in Phoenix, Arizona, as a sub-acute rehabilitation facility. The program is designed to assist individuals recovering from complex catastrophic injuries, specializing in traumatic brain injury and other neuro therapies, in a post acute clinical and therapeutic environment, to reach their highest independent functioning. Founded in 1989, CareMeridian provides a continuum of high quality, cost-effective post-acute care and rehabilitation options to people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and other life-altering injuries and medically-complex illnesses. CareMeridian is seeking a part time/on call Cook to work on call covering vacation and other scheduling needs in our kitchen, and will include weekends and/or evenings. The Cook prepares meals per the menu, provides dining room service, and cleans and preps for the following shift. For CareMeridian and The MENTOR Network the Cook is critical to our success and exemplifies the wonderful mission driven work we do here every day. The ideal candidate is someone who is self directed and takes pride in service food that looks, smells, and tastes delicious!

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six months related experience
• Food Handlers Card
