Truck Diesel Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

Mechanic CDL A preferred, but not required (With tanker and hazmat endorsement would be even better)

Must have their own hand tools, mechanics tools and small air tools (Company provides large impact tools)
Depending on experience, $15- $20/hr.

Monday thru Friday 7am- 5:00pm
Temp to hire depending upon business needs
Personal Protective Equipment Required- steel toed boots needed
HS diploma w/ some tech school preferred ? 50 # Lifting requirements

Full Job Description: Environment: Mechanic Shop repairing trucks

Works under the supervision of Service Manager Required to perform maintenance tasks on trucks and trailers MIG and TIG welding is not required but candidates must have some welding experience.
They are not looking for a welder.
Repair of bumpers, trailers, suspension and landing gear
Some ladder work up to 10 ft. Semi-trailer repair experience is extremely helpful but not required.
CDL A would be preferred, but not required....will be moving the trailers that are finished and that need worked on PA Inspection License preferred.
Will consider candidates with diesel (bus) and/or auto mechanic and inspection experience. Duties Include: - equipment failure response and troubleshooting - electrical and hydraulic repairs - instrument calibration and repair - welding and mechanical repairs

Requirements Include: - good communication skills(oral and written) - analytical ability - high aptitude for problem solving - ability to use hand tools Will consider a mechanic's trainee: someone with a tech school background that wants to learn the business from the ground up. Will look at entry-level candidates from dealerships, parts stores, oil change stores, etc.
