A 39 year old leader in wholesale distribution needs a Dependable self-starter in our fast-paced invoicing and shipping department.
The candidate will be responsible for weighing packages, labeling boxes, truck loading, obtaining freight quotes, and processing all shipments through both our shipping and distribution software. Attention to detail and time management skills are a MUST. Other duties include communicating with customers and staff regarding order processing and invoicing, general warehouse and office help and clean up, and assisting with special projects. Hours are generally 8:30 a. m. to 6:00 p. m. , M-F, dependent on volume of work. It is often necessary to stay into the evening to process all shipments.
Position Requirements include Attention to Detail, Typing, 10-key, strong customer service skills, good written and verbal communication, following directions, MS office and internet experience, ability to lift 75 lbs. Candidate must be able to multi-task and work independently with limited supervision. Must be a team player!
Salary will be based on experience, $9. 00 to $9. 50 per hour and a competitive benefit package including health, dental, vision and 401(k) is offered.
