Mortgage Servicing Specialist (Level III)

Job Description

Responsibilities include:
-Complete a thorough audit and review of mortgage insurance claims.
-Ability to validate financial impacts of curtailments and provide management with a detailed summary/recommended actions in the form of disputes or approvals.
-Primary responsibility to conduct research and interpret information gathered from multiple sources that will be used in loss analysis.
-Thorough understanding of foreclosure and REO(Real Estate Owned) asset management and ability to identify delays in these servicing processes.
-Review and resolve inquiries and claims within contractual timelines.
-Apply product knowledge, guidelines, sound judgment, consult with other associates and leaders.
-Demonstrates good problem solving skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks, and the willingness to work through complex issues.

Qualifications

- 3-5 years experience within Reverse Mortgage and Default Servicing
- General working knowledge and understanding of foreclosure process
- Detail orientated, adaptable to change, and ability to produce in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
