H.O.P.E. Consulting is a highly respected and rapidly growing agency specializing in the treatment of children diagnosed with autism in the greater Sacramento, Roseville/Lincoln, and Auburn area. We utilize the scientific principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), proven to be most effective approach towards the treatment of autism.
H.O.P.E. Consulting is seeking energetic individuals to join our team as Behavior Therapists. Responsibilities include:
- Provide 1:1 direct instruction in the child's home or school
- Implement lesson and behavior plans
- Teach appropriate socialization and communication while taking data on progress
- Serve as an integral team member by providing consistent quality service
Therapist education, experience and skills/knowledge requirements include:
- Must be at least 18 yrs old
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- Immunization Records
- Current TB Test (within one year)
- Must be able to make a one-year commitment
- Have reliable transportation/vehicle
- Experience with ABA and working with children diagnosed with autism beneficial
- Enjoy enhancing the lives of children and their families!
- Ability to squat, kneel, and lift at least 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of autism and applied behavior analysis principles
H.O.P.E. offers an excellent benefits package including PT positions and internships with flexible schedule if needed, health benefits, complete initial and on-going paid-training, and rapid career advancement. Successful completion of a background check and TB test is required.
