Position Summary
Implements, develops, maintains, and troubleshoots process enhancements for internal and external sites. Writes and develops high quality code within the context of a pre-existing technical infrastructure. Contributes to developing internal tools and collaborates on process enhancements to increase the effectiveness of Chipotle’s IT development team.
In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
• Working with business units to create requirements for solution development
• Designing web solutions related to growth and integration
• Maintaining all internally developed applications with respect to enhancements and bug fixes
• Designing and developing custom web applications to address various business needs in order to drive efficiency within the organization
• Designing and creating data interfaces to integrate corporate or 3rd party systems
• Continually migrating solutions to newer technologies to stay up to date with industry best practices
• Maintaining relationships with all other business units
Qualifications:
Education/Training
• Advanced technical degree in a related field and four (4) years experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge/Skills
• Working knowledge of .NET framework, ASP, XML, SQL 2000 or 2005 and IIS 5.0 or 6.0
• Ability to develop software based on the description of business logic
• Ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications
• Ability to write technical instructions in the use of programs and/or program modifications
• Ability to investigate and analyze information, and to draw conclusions
• Ability to learn and support new systems and applications
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well on a team
• Ability to work independently and produce required results without close supervision
Work Experience
• Three (3) to five (5) years programming experience
• Project management experience preferred
