Banquet Manager - Full-time

The Crowne Plaza Wyomissing, PA is interviewing for an energetic, creative and organized Banquet Manager to lead our hotel. With 12,000 sq. ft. of dedicated indoor and outside space, we set the standard for memorable events in Central Pennsylvania. The position is responsible for managing the banquet function by maintaining quality standards, promoting return business, and maximizing profitability.

To provide prompt and courteous food and beverage service to guests while maximizing guest satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly after they arrive on property according to established standards and procedures.
• Review catering function agreements (schedules of events and menu orders) with clients. Work within policies to accommodate the special requests of the guests.
• Oversee the execution of catering agreements in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Complete customer payment transactions according to the established policies and procedures.
• Must make weekly schedules within established standards and budgets.
• Observe the reduction of breakage of glass, china, silver and linen.
• Must have the ability to change priorities in a moment's notice.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times in accordance with hotel Standards of Grooming and Standards of Conduct.
• Perform any duty requested of you by your supervisor.
• Must always make guest satisfaction a priority within the guidelines of the Hotel Guest Satisfaction System.
• Be willing to assist in any other department/task that may ask for his/her assistance.
