Position Summary:
The Mailroom Courier will be responsible for supporting the mail room by delivering and receiving mail and packages to and from our 3 (three) corporate locations, local distribution centers and post offices. The Courier will also process outgoing mail/packages at any of the corporate locations as needed. Transportation will be provided.

Position Summary:

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sorting and delivering all inbound mail and packages to three Burlington Stores, Inc. office locations as well a local distribution center of Burlington.
- Mail pick up and drop off from Burlington Post Office
- Preparing outgoing mail.
- Other mail related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Basic reading skills
- Ability to drive a box truck and a van.
- Must know how to operate a postage meter device.
- Be able to observe fully safe work as well as driving rules and practices.
- Able to communicate in a clear and tactful manner.
- Knowledge of FedEx and UPS shipping systems.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Possession of a valid state driver’s license is required with no moving violations within the last 30 days.
Experience:
- At least one year of mail center, clerical, delivery, receiving, shipping experience.
- Knowledge of shipping systems a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
