Associate Enrollment/ Eligibility Representatives are responsible for preparing, processing and maintaining new member or group enrollments.


 


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Load new member or group data into the enrollment database and update the database with changes. 

  • May work with various types of member correspondence. 

  • Responsible for reconciling eligibility discrepancies, analyzing transactional data & submitting retroactive eligibility changes. 

  • Responsible for inventory control of member and group transactions.

  • Work on simple tasks using established procedures.

  • Apply knowledge/skills to basic, repeated activities. 

Requirements


Requirements:




  • High School Diploma/GED

  • 1+ years of experience in an office setting using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties

  • Basic proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new computer system applications

Assets:



  • Previous Enrollment/Eligibility experience

  • Previous Healthcare insurance industry experience  

  • Ability to multi-task, this includes the ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product

 Physical Requirements and Work Environment:



  • Frequent sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods working at a computer

  • Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activity
