About this job


Duties and Responsibilities
Greets visitors and directs to appropriate staff member. Provides information to visitors and callers.
Receives and qualifies calls/walk-ins from prospective temporary employees. Schedules application and interview appointments. Screens incoming calls and/or connects telephone callers to appropriate staff member. Contacts appropriate personnel to notify them of concerns or unusual situations. Uses paging system to locate staff. Receives messages for unavailable recipients. Retrieves messages from answering machine/service and delivers to appropriate staff member.
Interviews job candidates and ensures that application information is correct and complete. Administers appropriate tests, reviews test scores, employment history, verifies references and selects potential candidates. Answers general questions from applicants. Introduces qualified candidates to Account Manager.
Maintains paperwork and documentation. Enter applicants' information into computer system.
Contributes to the Company's candidate pool by assisting in the recruiting process by requesting new candidates' names from current candidates and re-activating prior candidates no longer working for the Company.
Generates sales leads during the applicant interview process. Leads are documented and turned in to Branch Manager on weekly basis.
Interacts with temporary employees. Assists in problem resolution process for any temporary employee issues. Communicate company policy changes to temporary employees. Distributes paychecks to temporary employees. Maintains the sign-in/out log.
Researches candidate pool to locate possible candidates for job orders. Contacts employees to review job orders, job details and ascertain interest. May make on-site tours at client facilities to better understand job requirements.
Maintains adequate number of pre-made Application and Conditional Job Offer Packets for office. Orders office supplies. Distributes incoming mail. Checks and distributes incoming fax messages. Signs for packages, registered mail, and delivery services.
Performs general administrative and miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications 1. High school diploma and one to two years related experience or combination of education and experience. 2. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. 3. Knowledge of, and ability to use, Microsoft Office products.
